Nate and Kevin started this business by accident. When Nate decided to renovate the apartment above Cubby's in Downsville in which he owns with his wife Katie, he had no idea that it would turn into something so unique and beautiful. When he collaborated with his friend Kevin, he found out Kevin had amazing skills with custom woodworking. So together they created a vision for the future Air bnb, and the finished look turned out even better than they expected! When showing the apartment, they soon realized there was a market in this area for the products. People were requesting several of the pieces for their own homes, and that is when Red Cedar Woodworks came to be! They now do custom furniture, remodels, accent walls, and anything else that is requested of them. Together they are working on building a successful side venture and are excited to share these beautiful pieces with others.
